Instructions for Use
1. Setup and First Use
The IV 250 device eliminates flying insects such as mosquitoes, flies, and other pests using blue light to attract them, then quietly removes them with a high-voltage grid. For best performance, place the lamp in a darker area of the space, away from other light sources, to maximize the UV effect.
You can place the lamp on a flat surface or hang it using the metal ring on top – never hang it by the power cord. The recommended installation height is between 1.5 and 3 meters. To activate the device, simply plug it into a power outlet – the blue bulb will light up automatically, indicating the device is active.
2. Replacing the Bulb
- Unplug the device and discharge any residual voltage by touching both metal coils through the protective grid with an insulated screwdriver.
- Unscrew the insect collection tray and remove the two screws on the bottom of the device.
- Turn the old bulb counterclockwise and replace it with an original replacement bulb.
- Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
3. Emptying the Insect Collection Tray
- Do not tilt the device before emptying, as insects may fall out uncontrollably.
- Twist the tray counterclockwise and empty its contents.
- Reattach the tray by turning it clockwise. Regular emptying is recommended for optimal performance.

- Mount only using the metal ring, not the power cord.
- Always unplug the device before cleaning or replacing the bulb.

5. Environmental Disposal

6. Maintenance and Warranty
Always unplug the device before cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents – use only a dry or slightly damp cloth. The device comes with a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. In case of a claim, return the device with the receipt and original packaging. The bulb is not covered by the warranty. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse.
